Four-Wheelin'!
Above: This is one of my favorite pictures. As you can see by the grin, four-wheelers just made the wish list. Ryan loved every minute riding on these machines. I think we all did. It was so much fun! We hope to go again. Thanks Steph and Kyle!
Ready to ride!
The four-wheelin' crew. What a great group of friends!
The progression from dry and clean to very wet and very dirty. I don't think boys ever grow out of playing in the mud. It just so happens that the bigger the boys get, the bigger the toys they use to play in the mud.
Look at all that mud!
And the winners of the biggest mud splash. . .
Below: the infamous turn around point. We got stuck in the "puddle" in the second picture down. We went tearing across it only to realize too late there was no ramp out. It was a wall and the water kept getting deeper and deeper and deeper. Between Ryan going in reverse and Kyle towing with a rope we got it out only a little more wet and cold from the ride. Then, Mike got stuck in the snow on the other side and on the way to pull him out, the bolts on the engine cover came off on Kyle's machine. The engine cover ended up around front instead of in the back, so the boys fixed it up using tie-downs. We got out of the snow and out of the "puddle" and on to more fun!
The puddle that turned into a lake. We got stuck coming from the other direction on the far right of this picture. That really is a wall and it's deeper than it looks!
Yea for a play day!
