My Grandpa Henry passed away early this morning from pneumonia. He went peacefully with his family by his side which is a blessing. I've looked up to my Grandpa for many many years. I'm sad to see him go. I will miss him. He was an amazing man with a strong testimony. He was always giving to others and I know he was an influence for good in the lives of many people. I'm honored to have him as my grandfather. I'm very grateful today for the memories I have of him and for the knowledge that I will see him again. I love you grandpa and I'll miss you.

BREAKTHROUGH!
I think we had a breakthrough. We were to the point of desperation. I don't think any of us had truly slept in a month. The longest stretch Andrew was sleeping was 2 1/2 hours day or night, and that length was a rare occasion, most of the night stretches were 45 minutes to an hour. The cold, ear infection, and acid reflux probably played a part in that. One night, just to see if it helped, we put him on his stomach at some early hour of the morning. He slept for 3 1/2 hours!
So, the next night we started him on his stomach. . . and a beautiful thing happened. He slept 6 hours, woke up to eat, slept another 4 hours! We've put him on his stomach every night since and he sleeps 6 to 8 hours, wakes, eats, and sleeps another 3-4 hours. A whole week of sleep! Heavenly!
He is doing a little better with naps as well. He usually will take one long one- 1-3 hours and multiple little ones. I'll take what I can get. :)
We went to the Dr. yesterday for his 4 month checkup:
-17 lbs 7 oz
-28 inches long
-both are in the 95%
He took the shots like a champ. He only cried for about a minute and then turned around and smiled at the nurse who gave him the shots. It was pretty cute, his big grin through the alligator tears running down his cheeks. We sure love this little guy.
