I made a Halloween tablecloth and we carved pumpkins. They're already starting to wilt. Sad day. We had fun carving them with Rachelle and Eric though.
We also finished the nursery, or very close to it. I was going to post pictures, but alas all the batteries for the camera have died, so pictures will have to come later. You'll all just have to wait in breathless anticipation.
I do, however, have a few "in progress" pictures below.
Cleaning the walls in preparation for painting. |
A sneak peak at the color before and after. |
Ryan working hard on painting. |
Ryan painted almost the entire room by himself. I couldn't handle the smell of the paint. Way to go Ryan. It turned out beautifully. We did have one little hiccup that we weren't expecting. When Ryan went to touch up the ceiling and cover up the yellow that got on the white, we discovered that the white paint we had for touching up was much more white than the white currently on the ceiling, so Ryan also painted the entire ceiling. |
In other news, Little Mr. is still happily residing inside my tummy, wiggling and stretching as much as he can. I keep trying to convince him that he'll have more space to move and stretch out here than in there, but I don't seem to have come up with a convincing argument just yet. In the meantime, I'm enjoying being able to feel him move around and having the time to get the last few things prepared and put together before his arrival.
